Armchair BEA - A Few Of My Favorite Book Blogs

I didn't sign up to do any interviews, I was a little late on the ball for this years Armchair BEA event. So I am doing the alternate activity and listing some of my favorite blogs. This is tough for me, I hate to leave some great blogs out but with around 200 blogs listed in my Google Reader I just can't always keep up with everyone. So I have decided to recommend a few of the book blogs I visit regularly all for different reasons.

My first recommendation is Bermudaonion's Weblog. Hosted by Kathy, I love this blog because you know the friend you have that loves the same books you do? Kathy's blog is like that for me. Whenever I'm wondering what I should read next I head over to her blog. She is also a great reviewer. Her primary focus is general fiction.

My second recommendation is books i done read. Hosted by Raych, I love her blog because she is absolutely hilarious! Also one very smart cookie. I don't always agree with her reviews but they are fun to read anyway. I can't tell you how many times I've found myself laughing out loud reading one of her posts. I have a lot of the same tbr goals, she just gets to them when I'm not even close. Her reviews focus a lot on the more literary fiction.

My third recommendation is At Home With Books. Hosted by Alyce, I love this blog because it is the information center of my book blog world. Alyce reviews a wide variety of books so there is something for everyone. I also love this blog because Alyce has her finger on the pulse of what's going on around the blogosphere. Giveaways, meme's, events, this is the blog to find out all about it.

My forth recommendation is Princess Bookie. Hosted by Cindi, this is my go to blog for all books YA. Yes, I am a huge fan of YA and here I can learn what's coming out months in advance. Cindi also hosts some fantastic giveaways (how does she manage to get all those ARC's?).

My fifth and final recommendation is No More Grumpy Bookseller. Hosted by Becky, this has been the blog I go to to find all about the newest and best of books wild, weird, scary, creepy, futuristic and paranormal. Yes, this blog caters to my fondness for books on the dark side. Becky is also a talented reviewer and I hope if you haven't already visited her blog you go check it out.
